Only eligible items marked “📦Shipping Available For This Lot” will be shipped. Coastal Downsizing will not ship any items that were not marked and bidder will not receive a refund. If you require shipping for coins, art, precious metals, gold and silver jewelry, you will be required to pay your invoice by Zelle or bank wire transfer if your invoice exceeds $250.00 for the items mentioned above. Within 24 hours of the auction closing, you will receive an email or text message asking you if you want shipping or pick-up. If you choose shipping, you will receive a notification within five business days after local pick-up is complete to pay your shipping invoice. Bidder must pay shipping invoice through the link you received from Sipping Saint. If you do not receive an email or text within 24 hours after the auction has closed, please check your spam folder, if you still don’t see it, immediately call us at 757-482-7192. If you do not receive an email and you do not notify us before local pick up, your items will be considered abandoned and you will not receive a refund.All our shipping is performed in house by our staff. We take time to package your items correctly. Every shipment includes insurance for your total bid amount. We use UPS 99% of the time, however, Coastal Downsizing reserves the right to pick the carrier of our choice.If a package gets damaged or lost, the bidder is responsible for filing the insurance claim through Shipping Saint. 

Local Pick Up:

Failure or Missed Pick Up: Make sure you know when pick up day is. Do not rely on getting an email. All auction pick up dates and times are  on the front page of the auction. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to know the date and time of local pick up. If you miss pick up day, your items will be considered Abandoned and you will not be entitled to a refund. Proper Moving Help: We don’t want to see anyone get hurt so please bring the proper moving help. Our staff will not be able to help load your items. Each bidder will be required to sign a damage waiver when moving large items. Per our “Terms and Conditions” you agreed to, bidder will be responsible for any damage to persons or property while moving your items.

Proper Packing Supplies: Make sure you bring proper packing supplies for fragile items.

Access to Property: Most of the time, our auctions are conducted at the home of the estate and per our contract with our clients; we will not have access to the property after local pick up is complete. 

Notification of Pick Up: Winning bidders will receive an email from Shipping Saint within 24 Hours after the auction. Once you select pick up, you will be given the address. Please call if you don’t receive an email. View all our Terms & Conditions
