🏡 LOCAL PICK-UP

đź“… Know Your Pick-Up Day:

* Pick-up dates and times are listed on the auction page (click the trailer icon marked “Removal Times”) and on your invoice.

* No access will be granted to the property after the scheduled pick-up ends.

âť— Missed Pick-Up = Abandonment:

Items not picked up during the scheduled time will be considered abandoned with no refund.

đź§° Be Prepared:

* Bring adequate help and equipment for loading.

* For insurance reasons, our staff cannot assist.

* Buyers are responsible for any damage caused while removing items.

📦 Bring Your Own Supplies:

* Come with boxes, padding, and wrapping materials for fragile items.

đźšš Property Access:

* Most auctions are held on-site at private estates.

* Coastal Downsizing will not bring items back to our facility, unless they are being shipped.

âś… Pick-Up Checklist

1. Review the pick-up schedule before bidding.

2. Make sure you or a representative can attend the pick-up.

3. Bring help** for heavy items—staff may deny removal if it poses a safety or property damage risk.

4. Pack materials for fragile items.

5. Do not bid if you cannot pick up on time.

📦 SHIPPING

* Shipping is available for most items that fit in a 12” x 12” box.

* Shipping & handling charges can be costly, especially for fragile items—please bid accordingly.

* If an item is not marked “Shipping Available,” email our Auction Administrator @ becky@coastaldownsizing.com before bidding.

* We do not respond to phone calls about shipping—email only.

đź”’ High-Value Item Shipping Policy:

If your invoice includes but not limited currency, coins, or precious metals, you must pay by bank wire transfer or cashier’s check. Funds must clear before your items will be shipped.

🚨 Shipping Instructions – Action Required:

* Within 24 hours of the auction closing, you must email your signed invoice and notify us that you'd like your items shipped.

* Requests made after 24 hours are accepted at the auctioneer’s discretion.

đź§ľ Shipping Process:

* All shipping is processed via Shipping Saint.

* You will receive a separate invoice for shipping via email and/or text.

* Once payment is received, your items will be delivered to the shipping provider.

📦 Insurance & Claims:

* All packages include insurance and tracking.

* Buyers are responsible for filing claims with Shipping Saint for loss, theft, or damage.

* Coastal Downsizing cannot file claims on your behalf.
